BMB&B is a small family bed and breakfast, providing hospitable and personal service within a house which has been our family’s vacation home for nearly 60 years. Originally an 1847 working farm, the old house was architecturally re-designed and rebuilt recently to incorporate the charm of the old as well as comforts possible only with new features: air conditioning, and large rooms with scenic window views. We’ve created two rooms with private baths, and an en suite loft apartment for our visiting guests.

Bridgewater Mountain Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated in central New Hampshire, minutes from Interstate 93 in a secluded high country setting with a sweeping view of mountains to the north. Located just four miles off Exit 24, it is also within the state’s Lakes Region, convenient to countless recreational opportunities that define the Granite State.

Our property is located beside a country road with little traffic to interrupt the serenity of this lovely spot. The house and barn are surrounded by forests and stone walls, stately sugar maples, hillside fields, fruit trees, and organic flower and vegetable gardens. Our nearest neighbors are family members who have built seasonal homes. Behind us a panoramic view stretches out forty-five miles to Franconia Notch and the White Mountains.

We invite you to share this place of natural beauty, inspiration and retreat with us. It calls to the work-weary, the creatively-inclined, and those yearning for privacy and simple pleasures. It can also be a destination location for a mini-vacation, or home base to returning alumni or the parents of students at nearby private schools (Holderness School, New Hampton School, Tilton School) or Plymouth State University. Parents of young people attending several summer camps, particularly those a few miles away on Newfound Lake, will also find us very conveniently located.
